On the occasion of fine dust house moving season, Coway promotes the "Eco Campaign" that provides 10,000 customers with the "mattress care eco deodorization service" for free until May 31. Regular care is essential for mattress as it makes contact with our body for a long time is vulnerable to pollution from sweat dead skin cell emitted while sleeping. In addition, caring living room, bedroom, bathroom, shoe rack is needed to ensure comfortable spaces for children. This campaign was prepared to offer a chance for experiencing clean indoor environment. Everyone including existing Coway customers can apply for the campaign at the "Sleep Care" page of corporate website. The mattress care service is offered by the visit of Home Care Doctors, Coway's experts in hygiene. They check mattress pollution level by using professional equipment conduct bed frame cleaning, bed frame washing, side edge cleaning, mattress cleaning, application of tick repellent, UV sterilization. The eco deodorization service is to make indoor space comfortable by deodorizing unpleasant smell with eco-friendly phytoncide smoke free from sterilizer, preservative, synthetic fragrance, artificial dye, chemical sterilization. Nah Ji-hye, the head of Home Care Division, said, "We prepared this campaign to provide people with more comfortable living environment in spring. We will continue to offer Coway&rsquos unique differentiated services by putting customers&rsquo healthy life first." Coway's mattress rental care business started in 2011 for the first time in Korea. This business rents high-priced mattresses at reasonable prices offers the 7-step professional care service every four months performed by the Home Care Doctor. The number of customer accounts has grown to over 564 thous as of the end of 2019 from around 8,000 in 2011.
Coway installed water purifiers at the Geumbuk-ro Village Hall in Hongseong-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, where water supply was not yet made, on April 27. As part of the "Sharing the Water of Life" project, the company has been donating water purifiers to the underprivileged in areas without water supply in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment since 2015. Coway has also signed an agreement on this project with Chungcheongnam-do Chuncheon-si. A total of over 700 water purifiers have been donated until now the figure will be extended to more than 1,000 until the end of next year.

Coway announced on March 27 that it would join the "high energy efficiency product purchasing cost refund project" driven by the Ministry of Trade, Industry Energy. This project ensures 10 refund of product price within KRW 300 thous in case of lump-sum purchasing of water purifiers or air purifiers with the 1st grade in energy efficiency. It will continue until the end of this year. Targets are a total of 16 models including the "Nano Tankless Water Purifier (CHP-7200N)" which won the gr prize at the 21st Energy Winner Awards, Hanppyeom CIROO Tankless Water Purifier (CHP-8300R), the strategic product of 2020, "Dual Power Air Purifier (AP-1717A)". The Nano Tankless Water Purifier boasts high energy efficiency by adopting a new inverter compressor control algorithm instant water heating system. The Dual Power Air Purifier (AP-1717A) or Quatro Air Purifier (AP-3018B) buyers can receive additional benefits as well as refund from the government in case of lump-sum purchasing. The 1-year Heart Service (hygiene control service) is granted for free to new customers 5 discount on lump-sum price is added to existing customers. Product price refund is available by submitting the energy efficiency grade label, serial number, transaction notice, receipt to the project website until January 15, 2021. This project will be finished in case of spending KRW 150 billion fund raised by the government.
