    Woongjin Coway pursues and achieves the Clean Woongjin Coway as a transparent corporate culture based on our ethics management way, 3C(Code of Conduct, Compliance Check Organization, and Consensus by Ethic Education).

    Ethics Management Program

    Enactment of Corporate Code of Ethics
    Woongjin Coway enacts and implements the concrete and stipulated guidelines, including the Charter of Ethics, Regulations on Ethics and Code of Ethics, with the aim of spreading the culture of Clean Woongjin Coway to the overall company.
    Operation of Ethics Report Center
    Woongjin Coway’s stakeholders, including employees, suppliers and customers, can report any behavior and issue violating the company’s ethics management policy to the Ethics Report Center. In 2018, 162 cases were reported, handled and managed by Diagnosis Team, Compliance Management Team, Sales Organization Team and CSM Team. Through the Ethics Report Center, we will continue to eradicate any unethical behavior and sustain the value of Clean Woongjin Coway.
    Process of Ethics Report Center
    Woongjin Coway receives case reports by mail, fax and online channel. When a case is reported, the Ethics Management Office reviews the case and conducts a survey. If necessary, we share the case and provide education to prevent the recurrence of the same or similar cases in the future.
    Internalization of Ethics Management
    Woongjin Coway conducts ethics management promotion and campaign and employees monitoring for all employees and suppliers to reinforce ethics awareness. We also provide ethics education on a regular basis to enhance awareness of ethics management and willingness for practice.
    Spreading the Culture of Ethics Management

    Company-wide education

    • We provide all employees with online and offline ethics management education.
    • In 2018, 4,245 employees(about 89%) completed online education.

    Ethics management campaign

    • We conduct the campaign of “not giving and receiving national holiday gifts” with all of our suppliers.
    Diagnosis and Monitoring

    Work diagnosis

    • We carry out regular/non-scheduled diagnosis(work process/system improvement, etc.) to enhance the soundness and transparency of the company and prevent risks.

    Regular monitoring

    • We operate the regular monitoring system, notify the soundness of sales organization and current status of risk to the business site and prevent illegal sales.
