Acquaintance. Story about Environmental Technology Research Lab "Infinite Challenge"

To drive innovation in the areas of our strength, the Environmental Technology Research Lab organized a contest called "Infinite Challenge", where the employees working at the lab have a competition of ideas that would bring technological innovation and change market trends. The contest encourages the employees to work on something that is outside their area of expertise. The ideas submitted for new product development are crowd funded and the employees are given virtual money that they can invest in the idea of their choosing. The funds raised through the contest were used for realizing the ideas. We will continue to create a culture that promotes new ideas and drives innovation.

Method. RPA-based Digital Work Process Innovation

In order to drive innovation using digital technology, we introduced the RPA(Robotic Process Automation) system for such areas of work as accounting and analysis. The RPA is a system that automates repetitive work using software allowing employees to focus on more productive work and improve efficiency. Currently, the system has been implemented in over 40 tasks such as monitoring account status, aggregating sales results, organizing rental assets, and checking billing history. As a result, we have managed to speed up the entire work process by 50% using 70 robots. We plan to review the possibility of introducing RPA throughout the work process and expand the scope of application in order to improve the quality of work and help our employees maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Through reading, our groups of employees - new employees, team leaders, and those newly promoted - debate, gain knowledge and share our corporate values with the CEO.

      CEO communication activities

Once a month, we organize various activities including birthday parties, gifts for employees whose children are taking college entrance exams, and Hope Day for sales sites as part of our efforts to promote open communication between the CEO and employees.

      Sangsang Ocean

As one of our key idea generation programs, employees are encouraged and compensated for sharing their ideas.

      Grievance Handling Channel

Labor Council workshops and meetings are held on a regular basis with a representative from the labor side. In addition, there are internal online counseling channels such as "Pine Tree Bakery" and "Chorus" through which our employees can share their grievances and look for solutions.
