    Approach to Human Rights Management

There is a growing interest in human rights issues such as discrimination and diversity, which leads to a strengthening of regulations and guidelines. Many companies have adopted human rights management as a basic principle to promote sustainable practice. Woongjin Coway too, is committed to supporting human rights based on the management philosophy of "Goodness" and making the world a better place to live. Furthermore, we ensure compliance with local standards when it comes to labor, human rights, and working conditions. Our human rights policy is applicable to not only employees but also customers, suppliers, sales/service partners, and the local community.

    Human Rights Due Diligence Process

Using the human rights due diligence process, Woongjin Coway identifies risk factors related to human rights management in order to minimize risks.

    Identification of Vulnerable Groups

We identify vulnerable groups exposed to high risk of human rights violations. Internally, there are employees in charge of handling sales and complaints, who work at the point of contact with customers, whereas Codys and Doctors who provide services directly to customers as well as customer service representatives who deal with a lot of customers on the phone are also exposed to risks.
